A Fruity Snack!


Okay so when I am planning out my snacks, I always try to find simple items! This one is great because it is easy and quick to get done! All you need is some fruit, nuts and a little herbs! A lot of the snacks and meals I get are inspired by Kayla Itsines, finding recipes I enjoy from Pinterest or essentially making things up...well my husband makes things up I then proceed to go through the recipe again and write it down! haha

Alright so for this snack, it was inspired by Kayla Itsines. She has a great way of offering simple but great tasting snacks! I love this one because if I feel like having something sweet, I could get the sugar craving dealt with by eating some fruit! I also like that this snack is easy often times you likely will have strawberries and blueberries laying around! 

Fruity Snack 

What do you need? 
  • Strawberries
  • Blueberries
  • Nuts (pick what you prefer, I like almonds or cashews) 
  • Basil (optional, I just like the extra flavour this offers)

Preparation: 
I like to wash all the fruit and herbs and then pre-cut the strawberries to make it easier to eat if I am on the run. I then place the strawberries, blueberries, nuts into a bowl or glassware. I then cut up the the basil and mix that in. That's all!! Easy and super delicious!
